Implementation of Meta-Registers – A Key Step Towards a More Efficient eUprava

It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of the Meta-Register project, one of the strategic initiatives driving the digital transformation of public administration in Serbia.

The goal of the project is to establish a centralized record of registers and data managed by public administration bodies – enabling improved interoperability, reduced administrative burden, and higher quality electronic services for citizens and businesses.

As part of the project, the expert team from eGovernment, together with consultants from Infolink, is working on:

• mapping key registers,
• aligning metadata with European standards,
• developing a technical framework for data exchange between institutions.

The Meta-Register is much more than just a database – it is the foundation for a connected, transparent, and efficient government.
